GSS Third Party Oversight (TPO) Quality Assurance (QA) Associate

The TPO QA associate will work in partnership with the business lines and other relevant program stakeholders to provide guidance in the identification, assessment, management and resolution of Third Party Oversight program execution issues and control deficiencies.

 Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality assurance testing of line of business execution against firm-wide Third Party Oversight standards
  • Evaluate line of business control processes to determine their effectiveness and compliance with firm-wide standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis to determine source of business execution issues or ineffective controls
  • Partner with lines of business to determine appropriate remediation for identified issues
  • Validate effectiveness of remediation actions via discretionary quality assurance testing
  • Manage the efficient, timely entry and maintenance of documentation
  • Open to work in Night Shift – Important

Requirements:

  • Ability to conduct analysis and consider multiple viewpoints in order to reach the appropriate conclusions
  • Capable of interpreting TPO standards and their application when performing testing for their adherence
    Proficient in performing comprehensive due-diligence by seeking appropriate information from relevant sources when conducting testing and root cause analysis
  • Effectively ask probing questions to obtain necessary information relevant for decision making
  • Challenge and seek qualified evidence to verify statements made by stakeholders are truthful and correct
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in responding to escalated issues, rapidly changing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Comfortable thinking and working independently

Two huge plusses if the person had:

  • Prior work experience in auditing, or QA/QC testing environment, or in financial control
  • Visual basic skills that would allow them to administer our testing database and automate functions where there are efficiencies to be gained

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (preferable) or related fields or a Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain Management
